YUMA is an original five piece R&B/Pop group from Austin, Texas. Known for their engaging live performances, the blog Another Great Performance says "Yuma provided a sound and fun energy onstage that infected the crowd. You can't help it when you see the band having so much fun."
The band initially came together in 2011 after a series of fruitful Craigslist-fueled meetings, and has since expanded to include several of the members' good friends. Yuma's sound has likewise undergone several metamorphoses, with the recent addition of saxophone rounding out the band's most soulful and powerful tunes to date.
After having released two EPs and several singles over the last few years, Yuma is teaming up with producer Mark DuFour (Ghostland Observatory, Love Spit Love) for their next EP, scheduled for an early 2018 release.
Yuma has been featured on KUTX 98.9 Austin and KTSW 89.9 San Marcos.
